QUICK START GUIDE

ATTACH ANTENNA

Screw included antenna into antenna connector.

TURN ON

Plug Renny®JR into an outlet with the supplied cord.

Renny®JR automatically turns on. (To turn off Renny®JR, unplug it.)

INITIAL PAIRING

Go to your phone’s Bluetooth® settings to add a device (refer to your phone’s manual.) Tap “Renny JR.” on your phone to connect.

Renny®JR can only be connected to 1 phone at a time. However, you can connect multiple Renny®JRs to the same phone and place in different locations around the house. All Renny®JRs will ring simultaniously when there is an incoming call.

If you do not see “Renny JR.” in your phone’s Bluetooth® settings, refer to your phone’s manual & try resetting Renny®JR:

Insert a paperclip in the “RESET” hole on the bottom of Renny®JR.
Press firmly on the button multiple times until you hear Renny®JR say “reset”.
Unplug Renny®JR for 10 seconds.
Plug Renny®JR back in and try to re-pair on your phone.

SELECT OPERATING MODE

Slide the switch left or right to change between RING or MUSIC modes:

RING Mode: Renny®JR rings loudly when you receive an incoming call. All other sounds stay on your phone.

MUSIC Mode: All audio from your phone will play on Renny®JR, including all text/email notifications, music, media audio, etc.

SELECT RINGTONE

Short Press the MUSIC NOTE BUTTON to select the desired ringtone.

SELECT VOLUME

Press V- or V+ to select volume. A double beep will be heard when minimum or maximum volume is reached.

PHONE NUMBER ANNOUNCE

Press and Hold the MUSIC NOTE BUTTON until you hear the voice prompt to turn on/off phone number announce. (When on, Renny®JR will announce caller’s phone number.)

IMPORTANT NOTES

No Battery - Renny®JR does not have an internal battery. Must be plugged into a wall outlet at all times.

No Microphone - Renny®JR is not a speakerphone and does not have an internal microphone to protect your privacy.

Not Recommended For Music - Renny®JR is designed to be a loud ringer and is not recommended for high quality music streaming.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM #1: Renny has trouble connecting or maintaining a connection after initial pairing.

SOLUTION #1: Unplug Renny from the power source. Open the Bluetooth settings menu on your cell phone. Look at the recognized Bluetooth devices and delete Renny. Delete Renny even if settings shows it is disconnected. Plug Renny into the power source and add Renny as a Bluetooth device on your phone.

PROBLEM #2: My Samsung Galaxy phone is sending an incoming call to Renny, or Renny seems to be stealing the call.

SOLUTION #2: 1. Make sure you are running the latest software on the phone. 2. Reboot the phone. 3. Go to "Settings" > "Accessibility" 4. Tap "Interaction and dexterity" 4 . Select "Answering and ending calls" 5. Toggle off "Answer automatically". If this does not fix the issue, perform "Solution #1" above.

Clean Renny®JR only with a dry cloth.

Do not expose Renny®JR to extremely high or low temperatures.

Do not leave Renny®JR in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

Do not leave Renny®JR near open flames such as cooking burners, candles, or fireplaces.

Do not block any ventilation openings.

Adapter Hazard

Do not dispose of Renny®JR in a fire. It could explode causing injury or death.

Do not attempt to disassemble the Renny®JR because this may result in electric shock.

Do not use Renny®JR in damp areas or in extremely high or low temperatures because this could result in electric shock.

Do not clean Renny®JR when it is plugged in. Always unplug the adapter first before cleaning Renny®JR.

Automobile Accident Hazard

Do not leave or store Renny®JR or any of its accessories near or over your automobile’s air bag because serious injury may result when air bag deploys.

Fall Hazard

Do not place Renny®JR on high surfaces such as shelves. During music playback Renny®JR may move which could cause Renny®JR to shift and fall off the edge.

CAUTION!

Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean Renny®JR because this could cause scratches and damage.

Do not bring Renny®JR in to contact with any sharp objects because this could cause scratches and damage.

Do not insert anything into Renny®JR unless otherwise specified in the user instructions. This may damage the internal components.

Do not attempt to repair, modify, or disassemble Renny®JR yourself, it does not contain any user-serviceable components.

Use only the manufacturer supplied adapter to charge Renny®JR. Other adapters may look similar, but using them could result in electric shock and could damage Renny®JR.

Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in designated areas.

Do not use Renny®JR inside an aircraft unless allowed by the airline.

Dispose of Renny®JR in accordance with local regulations.
